Find the requirement for your exact degree and route
Write the university and degree name first. Then record whether you are applying for a full undergraduate degree, an exchange visit or another route. A visiting-student language page may not govern admission to a full degree.
Your place of residence, citizenship and educational system are separate facts. A student living in the UAE with an Indian school qualification should not select a route only because of their address. Record each fact and ask the university which rule applies.
| Check | Where to look | What to record |
|---|---|---|
| Programme and teaching language | Official degree page | Exact degree, language of teaching and entry year. |
| Applicant route | University admissions page | Full degree or exchange; qualification and any route-specific conditions. |
| Accepted language evidence | University or degree requirement | Full certificate name, level, component requirements and exceptions. |
| Document timing | Current application instructions | Submission stage, date, time zone and required form of proof. |
Use UNEDasiss as a starting point, then check the university
The UNEDasiss directory asks for the country of your educational system and completed studies, then points to university requirements and relevant accreditation services. Its published coverage is dated 6 February 2026 and warns that universities can change their criteria. Follow through to the recipient’s current instructions rather than treating the directory as a live deadline calendar.

Read a named rule without turning it into an all-Spain rule
The Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) page addresses students with nationality from non-Spanish-speaking countries who also come from an educational system whose country’s language is not Spanish. It specifies B2 Spanish unless the relevant degree has a different level.
For that rule, UCM lists DELE and SIELE among certificates that can be presented when requesting a place. Other certificates require UNEDasiss verification, with specific exceptions on the official page. Those exceptions concern that verification step; do not assume they remove the language requirement.

Make one requirement card for each application
Copy this record into your own document. Fill it using the recipient’s instructions, keeping the source link beside each rule. It is a planning aid, not a form to send to TutorMax.

Ask a question that the admissions team can answer
A useful question names the missing decision: “For [degree and cycle], applying through [route] with [qualification], will you accept [full certificate name and level]? Which components or recency conditions apply, and by what stage must I provide which document?”
Keep the official reply with your requirement card. If a handbook and a website appear to disagree, quote both source titles and ask which instruction governs your application. Avoid sending personal documents through an unofficial channel.
Choose Spanish preparation after confirming the proof
If the recipient accepts DELE at a level TutorMax currently supports, discuss your starting level, target and timetable with a tutor. Exam preparation and optional everyday Spanish are different goals; neither guarantees admission.
Ask which target DELE level TutorMax can currently support; teaching scope, tutor availability and timetable are confirmed individually. This page does not advertise SIELE preparation, C1/C2 support, admissions handling or a visa service. If another certificate or a higher level is required, choose suitable support for that requirement.

Questions you might have
Is DELE B2 required at every Spanish university?
Do not use one university’s rule as a nationwide requirement. Check the exact degree, applicant route, teaching language and accepted evidence with the recipient.
Does an English-taught degree mean I can ignore the language page?
No. Check the programme and applicant rules. Required evidence and optional everyday Spanish are separate; the teaching language alone does not settle every document requirement.
Is the UNEDasiss directory enough to confirm a deadline?
No. Its stated coverage is dated and universities may change criteria. Use the current university application instructions for the relevant cycle.
Can a TutorMax course replace the official certificate?
No. Preparation is teaching. The receiving institution decides which official evidence is accepted, and the relevant examination body issues its own results or certificate.
