About the role
The primary responsibility of this operations-focused role is to maintain an active tutor roster and quickly allocate suitable tutors for demos, trials, students, and batches. Tutor hiring is driven by operational demand so that TutorMax has enough suitable tutors available for every requirement. Performance will be evaluated on allocation speed, the accuracy of tutor availability data, the ability to fulfil tutor requirements, the reliability of follow-ups, and maintaining sufficient tutor supply. The goal is simple: when TutorMax needs a tutor, a suitable tutor should be available and allocated quickly.
What you’ll do
- Maintain an updated tutor roster by subject, class, board, language, availability, and teaching mode.
- Identify suitable tutors for new student, demo, trial, and batch requirements.
- Contact tutors and confirm allocations quickly.
- Track tutor availability and current workload.
- Identify shortages in tutor supply and recruit accordingly.
- Screen and onboard new tutors when required.
- Coordinate replacements when a tutor is unavailable.
- Keep tutor and allocation data updated in internal systems.
What we’re looking for
- Good Hindi and English communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking with tutors over phone and WhatsApp.
- Strong follow-up and organisational skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, dashboards, and online tools.
- Laptop, reliable internet, and full-time availability.
- Previous experience is not mandatory.
What you’ll get
- ₹5,000 stipend for the initial one-month internship.
- Based on first-month performance, the internship may be extended for another two months with a revised stipend.
- Remote, full-time work experience in tutor supply and education operations.
